Callan Co-op is a leading supplier of products and inputs into the Agri sector in Kilkenny. Our agri sales division supplies bagged and bulk feed, fertiliser, seed, pet and equine supplies, veterinary and agricultural hardware sales to the local farming community. We have an established network of suppliers offering the most competitive prices and highest quality materials available.
Our Agri Manager, Jim McHugh, works closely with our farmers to efficiently supply inputs and assist in increasing farm efficiency and therefore profitability
Agri Feed
We have a long tradition of supplying top-quality coarse rations to our customers for generations. Now manufactured off-site, we still use only the finest quality ingredients with high native grain inclusion rates combined with a quality protein source in all our rations.
Available ex-branch or delivered in bulk, jumbo bags or 25kg bags all year round, covering everything from calves to cows, horses to hens. We also supply cubes to the dairy and beef sectors, bulk delivered to farms offering quality and value at all times.
We offer a choice of high-quality Milk Replacers including our best sellers, Topstart, AAA Maverick and Shine. We are distributors for the Redmills range of Horse feeds and Poultry feeds.
Fertiliser
We supply and stock all types of bagged and bulk grassland and tillage Fertilisers ex-yard or delivered. You’ll lose no time in the Co-op with our modern storage and loading facilities and equipment for handling bulk products.
Spreading service is also available leaving you with more time to look after your farm business.
Grass Seed
All of the varieties selected for our range of grass seed are selected from the DAFM recommended grass lists. Experienced agronomists use this in conjunction with the Teagasc Pasture Profit Index to ensure our grass seed mixtures suitable for your farm ensuring exception DM yields, digestibility, persistency and above all profitability at farm level.
All our new mixtures are scoring highest for grass utilisation traits resulting in better paddock graze-out levels and happier stock.
Detergents
Callan Co-Op offers a comprehensive range of products from teat and udder care to machine and tank washing and environmental cleaning and sanitation. Our products are developed and manufactured in Ireland to suit Irish conditions. Our range of products includes both chlorine-based and chlorine-free products and our technical representatives are available to offer advice and support to farmers.
Crop Packaging
Our range of Crop Packaging is manufactured from the highest quality raw materials ensuring superior, consistent and reliable pit sheets, bale wrap, bale nett and twine to protect your valuable crops.
